Following discussion about you/your animals current and previous medical/veterinary history and requirements, a comprehensive assessment of posture, movement, palpation and neurological feedback as appropriate will be conducted. This may include gait analysis, foot-balance assessment, observation of a functional daily task, sporting technique, technical movement and/or equipment assessment for fit/suitability such as footwear or saddlery.
In equine assessment it may include observations in-hand, on the lunge and ridden; in canine, movement on and off lead or over equipment (as appropriate).
In animal rehabilitation, specific rider or handler assessment together with the animal with which you form a team may be recommended as imbalances and restrictions in one or the other can reflect in your partner and affect performance.
